2014 Maryland Senate Bill 0861 / House Bill 787

 

This bill, introduced in Maryland in 2014, requires the Special Joint Commission on Public Safety and Security in State and Local Correctional Facilities to appoint an independent third party to review correctional facilities’ use of isolated confinement and offer recommendations for improvement.
